Aging: You will notice that when you start, you?re age will be 3(don?t panic this is supposed to be the age). 1 day game-time is about 42 minutes real-time. Thefore 1 month game-time is 1 day real-time. Finally 1 year game-time is 12 days real-time. When you are just a little kid, there are many items you cannot buy, and many moves you can?t learn, and quests you can?t go on. Same may be found when you are an adult. There are some items that can be bought by you as a child and can be used as an adult, others cannot be used when you are older. Rarely you will come accross a special item that can only be obtained when you are a child, and can only be used as an adult. There is no way for you to become a child again after you grow up, however there are potions to make you age faster, and some that halt your aging. You can live to be 108 years of age, if you don't halt your aging. Also when you reach 60, your BP and stats will drop by 5 every game-day.
Battles: Battles are to be done over aim. You fight with only your words. This is because I can't make a battle simulator for you guys :(. The way a battle works is...
First you make sure that you and your opponent are on the same planet. Next you check to see if there is a qualified referee present to monitor the battle. If these things are positive, then the person with the higher speed will attack first, unless they wish to go second. You then choose from your attacks, and pick the one you wish to use. You may not use a KI attack for any of your first 3 moves. You may only use physical attacks. Keep fighting until someone gives up, or the Referee declares the fight is over (usually because someone's HP has reached 0, but occasionally there may be a disqualification). Once the battle is over, both fighters gain FP(Fighting Power) and Stats. The referee will assign FP to the winner according to how tough the battle was, and one quarter of that FP to the loser. Once you have won a battle there are three things you can do:
#1 - Spare Them (Just what it says, very boring)
#2 - Rob Them Blind (Take up to 5000 Zenni from them, and one item)
#3 - Blast Them to Another Dimension (Self-explanatory)
If you beat the most powerful person on the rpg, you will receive an award. This will be a "I Beat ____" Award. These are used for recognition. They have a sale value of $150,000 however, so if your broke, you know what to do...
Also your battles MUST be RPed(roleplayed). Eg: ::Vegeta powers up great energy in his hands, and realease in a giant kamehameha at Goku:: instead of ::kamehameha@Goku::.
When you distribute stats to HP, you have 10x the normal amount of stats eg: 8 stats to HP=+80 to HP
Referees: Referees have the real power during a battle. Don't piss off the ref. or he can modify your FP, eliminate you from the fight, remove one of your attacks, or one of many other punishments. If you wish to become a referee, pay me 5000 Zenii for your Refereeing lessons, and then pass an intense refereeing course teaching you the fundamentals of reffing.
Physical Attacks: Physical attacks are what are used more in the DBZ enviroment. They are also simpler to use, and take up less time. They can be used to stun an opponent (by saying stun after the attack) there is a 60% chance of this happening. If it happens, your opponent is stuck for a turn, and cannot block your next attack (which you may use immediately after your first physical attack). Do this for as long as you can, until either the referee says that your done, or until you decide to finish it off by using a KI attack (can't use Genki Dama here) or a Combo Finisher class move. They use your strength + the attack's base power of the attack for total damage.
KI Attacks: More powerful than physical moves, however harder to obtain and use. These cannot stun, nor can they break limbs. These use 10% of your FP(unless otherwise noted) + the base power of the attack for total damage. These can also be used to destroy certain items that your opponent may have. These items will be noted as such in the items shop.
Intelligence: Intelligence is an interesting stat, which is definately not overused on DBZ RPGs. You need high intelligence if you want a good job. Races have different limits on how much intelligence they can have...
Tsufurujin - No limit
Races with high intelligence - 1000 Intelligence Points
Races with medium intelligence - 500 Intelligence Points
Races with low intelligence - 200 Intelligence Points
Races with very low intelligence - 100 Intelligence Points
Every 100 Intelligence Points(IP) you gain, you get the ability to create a signature move for your character. This move needs to go through Vegeta to be allowed. Check the moves at your FP for what the Power and KI usage should be at. Do not make it outrageous, because if it is, it will not be accepted.
The most stat points that you can point on Intelligence in any one session of fighting/training is 5.
Attacking: You can attack people in different places, like the arms, legs, head. A normal hit(standard hit, normal rules apply only) is a hit to the torso(chest and stomach). You can hit in the head, for a +5% dodging chance for them, but it has a 50% of making them 'dizzy'. If you?re dizzy, dodging and blocking chances are cut in half, and your opponent?s are doubled. This lasts for 3 turns. You can attack legs, arms, and tails with swords and kienzan attacks for a 20% chance of cutting off the limb(you CANNOT cut off someone's head). If your leg is cut off, speed is halved. If an arm is cut off, strength is halved. The only way you can get back a lost limb is in a rejuvination tank.
To break bones, aim at an arm or leg, without a sword/kienzan. There is again a 20% chance of breaking their limb and the effects to your opponent are the same as losing a limb, except it can be cured by a senzu, not just a rejuvenation tank
Dodging: You automatically have a 33% chance of dodging, and for every 2 speed you have over your opponent you get an extra 1% to your chance. The maximum chance is a 90% chance. You can dodge no more than 5 times in a battle. Blocking: When you block it will take away half the damage of the attack, you will always have a 50% chance of a successful block.
Tenchikai Buudoukais: One of these Tenchikai Buudoukais will be held every three months. The next will be in February. These have 2 brackets, with half the players on each bracket. After you win a battle, you will move on to another battle against the winner of a battle who is near to you. When it is down to the last 2 people on each side of the bracket, the winner will go on to the championship, and the loser will go on to the consolation. The prizes for the Buudoukais are as follows:
Championship Winner = $75,000
Championship Loser = $30,000
Consolation Winner = $10,000
Consolation Loser = $2000
Participation Award = $350
Going Super Saiya-jin: In order to go SSJ, and SSJ2 you need to not only have the power to go that, but you need to be extremely angry. Usually because someone close to you has died. For SSJ3, you don?t need to be mad, just insanely strong, and for SSJ4, you need something....
Travel: You can only go to new planets with transportation, and it takes certain time to get there depending on your transportation. If you have a gravity machine, you can train in that throughout the time it takes to get there.
Teams: Teams are important, and you MUST be in a team, unless your job specifies that it is allowed that you are not in a team. A team starts with 5000 Zenni, and gains an extra 5000 Zenni for every person that joins.
Jobs: Get jobs with experience. You start with a choice of three(Red Ribbon Army Soldier, Planet Theif, and Saiya-jin Warrior). Once you?ve had a job for long enough, you can add it to your resume and it will open up a new set of jobs for you. Jobs will pay according to how much you do, and some extra per year.
Item Shops: Each planet has a slightly different item shop. While most have some certain items, there will be some good items sold on only one planet. If you want to sell an item, you can sell it to another member at the top price they?ll pay, or you can sell it to a shop for half the price you bought it for.
Strange Items: Sometimes you will see an item surrounded by ?**? on either side. These items are exceedingly rare, they may appear in the item shop, but if they do, it will be for only 1 day. So get in your request to buy it FAST! I will take the first request that I receive, and there will be only 1 in stock. Mostly these are items are however on quests.
Fusing Items: By paying some Zenii, you can fuse two of your items together to get another item. The original items will be gone forever, and there is a specific success rate. The more you pay, the higher the success rate. Once two items have been fused, they cannot be diffused. A failed fusion item is something that you are stuck with. However if the item fusion is successful, you can get something extremely good.
Quests: These are to obtain special items, special moves, and get to special places(eg: King Kaio?s). These all have requirements(age, items needed, high FP), and these requirements must be met in order to start your quest.
Dragonballs: You need to go on a quest to get the dragonballs. They exist only on Namek and Earth. There are also the Dark Star dragonballs which are more powerful, but harder to obtain. For wishes, you get 3 on Namek, 2 on Earth, and 2 from the Dark Stars. Namek dragonballs take 1 year to recharge, Earth?s take 1 year and 3 months, and the Dark Stars take 3 years(all game-time). Wish limits are basically logical, send a wish to me for the OK. Maximum wish to FP is +30% until you?re at 100,000FP, then it is 10%. Stats are +1/3 to all stats or an extra half to one stat. Maximum money is $50,000. Dark Star dragonballs can take wishes up to 1.5 times these ones.
Learning Moves: You can learn moves from masters, quests.
Planet Colloseum: A planet of fighting. It has no room for farms or team lodgings. Instead come here to fight. In a battle, see how many bets you can muster on the fight. The loser of the fight, loses half his money. The winner gets all the money in bets, and the half of the losers money. Everyone who bet on the winner, gets double their money back, and those who bet on the loser, get no money back. Bets can go as high as $75k, and can be as low as $10k. This is not wussy betting. Also after winning, you can choose to send your opponent to the other dimension, or show mercy on them(an extra $5000).
Training: You can train by working out alone: 5 PL/day
With a teacher: 25 PL/day ( 10 in space, 50 with King Kai, on New Vegeta, or on Kaioshin)
Sparring: Same as with fighting (doubled with King Kai, on New Vegeta or Kaioshin) to spar you MUST be training under the same trainer(max 10 pupils per teacher) max 2 spars per day(1 on new vegeta/kaioshin/king kai's).
In the gym: +2 to all stats for every 3 days
KI training: +2 to KI/day
You can train 3 weeks in a month
When you train with a teacher, you get 5 stats to distribute per day(doubled in the already mentioned places)
To train, go into the battleroom type in "training" and then e-mail me and tell me how long you were training for, so i can mark up your stats, be sure to tell me often, and if you were training with a master or not. If you were training with a master, tell me wich one, and how long you were training with them (in game-months), and if there was a certain move you were aiming to learn. If you go 3 weeks without training, you will get out of shape and lose 15FP, and 2 of each stat per day, until you begin training again.
(All times just mentioned were Real-time)
Misc. Stuff:
Lunar Cycles: This is when saiya-jins can go Oozaru on a planet. This happens past 7:00pm in the central timezone. So people can't go Oozaru at different times in the day.
Earth: The third Friday of every month.
New Vegeta: Every Sunday.
Ronin: The first and third Saturdays of every month.
Yardrat: The second, third, and fourth Mondays of ever month.
Namek: Never.
Colloseum: Never.
Kaioshin: First Monday of every odd numbered month, third Wednesday of every even month.
Freiza: Every Tuesday.
Planet Plant: Every second Saturday.
Arlia: The last day of every month.
Buu: The first day, and the 28th day of every month
Soil: This is for farming. Different plants flourish in different soil.
Earth: Standard
New Vegeta: Slightly Acidic
Ronin: Extremely Acidic(can anything grow?)
Yardrat: Extremely Moist
Namek: Dried
Colloseum: None
Kaioshin: Soft
Freiza: Hard
Planet Plant: Standard
Arlia: Slightly Acidic
Buu: Extremely Thick
If a certain plant is placed in its ideal soil it will grow at double the standard rate. If one is put in its worst soil, it will not grow.
Standard means nothing changes.
I will e-mail the team commander about plants not growing, or growing super fast. Also 1 seed will grow 1 item in the time told. So 10 senzu seeds will make 10 senzu beans. Also if you are planting different seeds in one acre, and you plant the max of one seed, the other seeds cant fit.
